Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) is a ship classification society dedicated to promoting safer and cleaner seas. ClassNK offers a host of services including the survey of new and existing ships and other marine structures, statutory surveys on behalf of flag States, and an extensive range of cutting-edge R&D projects. ClassNK currently has more than 7,000 ships of some 163 million gross tons on its register and is the only classification society in the world to have surpassed the 160 million GT mark. Based in Japan, ClassNK supports clients 24/7 through a network of 105 exclusive surveyor sites across the globe.

Bureau Veritas

Founded in 1828, Bureau Veritas is one of the oldest classification societies. The Bureau Veritas Group is today the largest classification and certification society worldwide, with over 30,000 employees and over 300,000 customers in many different industries.
