Lloyd’s List e-paper Terms of Use Agreement

This Terms of Use Agreement (Agreement) governs your use of the Lloyd’s List e-paper Service. By using the Lloyd’s List e-paper website and the services offered herein, you indicate your acceptance to be bound by this Terms of Use.

 

Definitions:

The Lloyd’s List e-paper Service or the Service is the on-line service operated by Informa or (We), including the Lloyd’s List e-paper Website, that provides you with the capability to read online electronic versions of publications.

The Lloyd’s List e-paper Website is an Informa website, located at epaper.lloydslist.com. You means a customer of the Lloyd’s List e-paper Service) and/or visitor of the Lloyd’s List e-paper Website. Account means your Lloyd’s List e-paper or website account, including user name and password information.

 

Registration and Security

You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and for updating it as required. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. Our current Privacy Policy is available at www.lloydslist.com/ll/home/privacy.htm

User Responsibilities

You may only use the Lloyd’s List e-paper Service (a) for lawful purposes, (b) in accordance with this Agreement and our Website Terms and conditions to be found at www.lloydslist.com . You will not use the Lloyd’s List e-paper Service in jurisdictions where prohibited by applicable law.

Changes to Lloyd’s List e-paper Service and Pricing

Informa may, at any time, change or discontinue any aspect or feature of the Lloyd’s List e-paper Service, including content, subscription plans and features, pricing, hours of availability, equipment or the software needed for access or use. Lloyd’s List e-paper may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of the Service without notice or liability.

 

Intellectual Property

The Lloyd’s List e-paper Service contains copyrighted material, trademarks and other proprietary information. Without limiting the scope of Lloyd’s List’s intellectual property rights, you acknowledge that Informa and/or its licensors own intellectual property rights in (i) the content included within the publications; (ii) the Lloyd’s List e-paper Service, the content contained within it; (iii) the selection, coordination, and arrangement of the Lloyd’s List e-paper Website and the publications contained within it; and (iv) the trademarks used in connection with the Service. Publications available with the Service are for your personal use with the Lloyd’s List e-paper only and may not be modified, reverse engineered, redistributed, sold, publicly displayed, licensed, rented, or otherwise provided to a third party or commercially exploited. We do not grant you any licenses express or implied, to the intellectual property of Lloyd’s List e-paper or our Publishing partners except as expressly authorized in this Agreement.

 

Price and Availability of Lloyd’s List ePaper

Newspapers at Lloyd’s List e-paper Service are made available to end users on a five edition basis. The price of a weekly package to Lloyd’s List e-paper Service provides you with specified number of issues. These issues are considered to be purchased and could be revisited at any time by entering the acquired username and password.

 

 

Variations

Any changes to these terms and conditions will be made available via the lloydslist.com website at least 7 days in advance of the changes taking effect and you will be deemed to have agree to the terms and conditions by accessing the lloydslist.com website following the changes taking effect.

 

Force Majeure

You acknowledge that your use of, or access to the epaper.lloydslist.com website may be subject to interruption or delay. Informa and Lloyd’s List do not give you any warranty that the epaper.lloydslist.com website or the services offered through it will be error free, without interruption or delay, or free from defects in design or engineering.

 

Jurisdiction

This agreement and your use of the ePaper website shall be governed by English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

No Advice

No tax, legal or investment advice of any kind (including advice and opinions with respect to the nature, potential value or suitability of any particular securities transactions, financial products or investment strategy) is being provided by lloydslist.com or Informa UK Limited to the user. Any investment decisions made by the user will be based solely on their own evaluation of their financial circumstances and investment objectives and not on the basis of any investment information given in lloydslist.com
