CMA CGM hikes Gulf of Aden piracy surcharge

CONTAINER line operator CMA CGM is to increase the surcharge it is imposing on containers it transports through the piracy prone water of the Gulf of Aden.
The French group, the third biggest carrier in the world, announced that it would be increasing the surcharge from $23 to $41 per teu from December 15.
