EU LNG imports soar

A QUARTER of all European Union natural gas imports are now shipped by sea, according to the latest Brussels figures.
The EU’s dependence on liquefied natural gas has shot up from 15% ten years ago to 25% today and is likely to increase further as the bloc seeks to diversify energy supply.
