Keppel bags $200m Vietnam rig contract

KEPPEL Offshore and Marine has bagged Vietnam’s first contract for a semi-submersible tender drilling rig.
PV Drilling, a subsidiary of Petrovietnam, has issued a letter of award to Keppel Offshore and Marine yard, Keppel FELs, for the rig at a cost of $200m. The contract for the rig is expected to be finalised next month.
