MHI reveals plans for Vietnam shiprepair yard

JAPAN’S Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has confirmed plans to build a shiprepair yard in Vietnam, writes Mike Grinterin Hong Kong.

The project will, in fact, be a joint venture between MHI, Mitsui OSK Lines, Japanese trading company Marubeni Corp and local state-owned shipbuilder Vinashin.

The companies plan to have a dock for repairs complete...
