TWO more ships were attacked by Somali pirates this morning, one of them at a distance of 1,000 miles east of Mogadishu, according to a statement from EU Navfor, the European Union naval deployment in the region.
In the first case, pirates opened fire with automatic weapons on 2000-built, 2,240 teu Nele Maersk, not far fr0m the position 1,000 miles...
