SHIPPING and shipbuilding share an intimate relationship when it comes to capacity levels in each of the industries. However, excess capacity in shipping is easier to eliminate than in shipbuilding, as owners may once again learn to their cost.
The shipping industry is attempting to undo the self-inflicted damage of a bloated newbuilding orderbook...
