China resisting calls to open up its cabotage markets

CHINA is resisting European Union calls to open up its cabotage markets to non-Chinese ships, according to the European Commission.

Brussels officials pressed their Chinese counterparts to dismantle protectionist legislation last week at a high level summit. Chinese officials said they would “look at it.”
