Los Angeles set aside $44m for clean truck programme

LOS Angeles has earmarked $44.2m to subsidise 1,000 trucks powered by alternate fuels through the rest of this year.

Individual truck operators who are registered as concessionaires under the Clean Trucks Programme can expect the Port of Los Angeles to pay them up to $80,000 per truck with which to defray the investment.
