JAPANESE shipbuilders have begun fiscal 2012 by recording the slowest month for exports in three years, such orders totalling 515,768 gt for 10 ships, representing a 43% drop in tonnage terms from the 912,412 gt for 22 ships ordered in April 2011, according to the Japan Ship Exporters’...
