Institutional investors advised by JP Morgan’s Asset Management have acquired US flag operator Bold Ocean group from private equity firm Nova Infrastructure for an undisclosed sum. The deal is the latest in a string of mergers and acquisitions in the US flag and Jones Act space that most recently saw Florida tanker owner Overseas Shipholding Group taken private by Saltchuk Resources
