Traffic to damaged Houthi-held Hodeidah and Saleef ports halts following Israeli air strikes

  • Satellite imagery shows what appear to be craters in the docks in Hodeidah and Saleef following Israeli air strikes on July 6
  • No vessels have arrived or departed Hodeidah or Saleef since the strikes, analysis of AIS and satellite imagery showed
  • The imagery also showed a blackened Galaxy Leader, the hijacked car carrier said to have been used by the Houthis to assist them in their Red Sea attacks

Satellite imagery suggests heavy damage to the docks in the ports of Hodeidah and Saleef, both previously damaged in air strikes in May
