Supply signs bode well for tankers, says International Seaways
- India tariff threats already causing a stir, with India taking only compliant tonnage for oil exports
- Too few tankers on order to replace ageing fleet
- Growing refinery supply east of Suez and declining supply in the West good for tonne-miles
International Seaways says fundamentals are in place for a combined tanker upswing in the next four years, with the 800 new ships set for delivery in that time representing just a third of the tonnage likely to run into trouble from sanctions or environment regulations
