Torm adds eight tankers in fleet renewal drive as fourth-quarter earnings rebound

  • Danish product tanker owner Torm has expanded its fleet with the acquisition of eight secondhand product tankers
  • The purchases include six medium range tankers and two long range two vessels acquired from Scorpio Tankers and Stena Bulk
  • Among the deals are the 2016-built LR2s STI Goal and STI Gallantry, bought for about $52.3m each
