CMA CGM boxship to navigate Strait of Hormuz via Iran-approved corridor
- The 5,466 teu CMA CGM Kribi is understood to be sailing eastbound toward the Strait of Hormuz after remaining idle in the MEG since early March
- Its transit route includes a detour around Iran’s Larak Island, part of the Iran-approved corridor established during recent regional hostilities
The 2014-built boxship appears to be bound for the Republic of Congo port of Pointe Noire on a CMA CGM service which connects India, the MEG and Africa
