US boards and releases Iranian tanker as PGSA outlines Hormuz boundaries
- US Marines boarded product tanker Celestial Sea in the Gulf of Oman as it was suspected of trying to circumvent the US blockade
- Concurrently, the PGSA also outlined the boundary it will be regulating in the Strait of Hormuz
- The IRGC on Wednesday announced that 26 vessels have transited the strait in 24 hours, following Tehran’s guidance
The PGSA iterated that transits through the Strait of Hormuz require its approval, holding firm on its demands even as the US and Iran continue negotiating a peace deal
