RELATED TO THE COLLISION BETWEEN THE MV VERITY AND MV POLESIE ON 24 OCTOBER, 2023
Notice is hereby given to all persons claiming and/or being entitled to make claims by reason of the collision between the M/V “VERITY” (IMO No. 9229178) and the M/V “POLESIE” (IMO No. 9488097) on 24 October 2023 in international waters 14 nautical miles southwest of Heligoland at approximate position 54.02583N. 7.64194E. that:
- A decree was made on the 14 May 2024 in the High Court of Justice of the Isle of Man Claim No. ORD 24/0002, on the application of the Owners of the Vessel M/V “VERITY”, Casper Chartering Limited (the “Claimant”) limiting the liability of the Claimant for claims of a type which fall within the provisions of the Convention on Maritime Claims 1976 (as amended by the 1996 Protocol thereto) to 1,240,400 Special Drawing Rights.
- Any application to set aside the said decree must be made on or before 23 July 2024.
- Any claims of a type which fall within the Convention on Maritime Claims 1976 (as amended by the 1996 Protocol thereto) must be made in this action on or before the 23 July 2024.
