Has LNG matured beyond the chicken and egg predicament?

It is no secret that Forward Maritime chairman and chief executive Alexandros Panagopoulos is a strong believer in the potential of LNG as a fuel; he recently unveiled a 20 LNG-powered kamsarmax order. But the Greek shipowner does not consider himself an early adopter and is adamant that investment in LNG as a fuel is no longer a risky venture, as a sufficient infrastructure network already exists

Alexandros Panagopoulos argued during the Lloyd’s List Posidonia Business Briefing that LNG is the best solution for the industry, but acknowledged its transitional role in the long term
