US west coast container imports dip year on year
The Pacific Merchant Shipping Association said that the west coast slowdown was most evident at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, where February 2019 saw combined inbound loads ‘tumble’ by 10.2% compared with February 2018
By comparison, this February the nine US east coast ports monitored by the PMSA posted a combined increase of 3.3% over February 2018
