Dry bulk shipping safe from Chinese tariffs for now
The move by Beijing’s top apparatchiks to increase levies on US agricultural exports will have little impact on dry bulk shipping in the short term because soyabean shipments to China have now shifted to Brazil for seasonality reasons. But perhaps in the future, Beijing might ban imports from the US again
