PIL installs scrubbers on 60% of fleet
Singapore-based carrier is putting the onboard refinery equipment on more than half of its fleet to hedge the compliant fuel risks derived from the IMO 2020 sulphur cap. Its chairman Teo Siong Seng reckons that some non-scrubber ships can be forced to withdraw from the markets due to higher operating costs
