SMF supports digitalisation initiatives across Singapore maritime sector

The Singapore Maritime Foundation wants to build a sustainable pipeline of talent to support the area’s digitalisation efforts. It intends to do this by attracting bright students to the maritime industry, supporting them through their studies with scholarships and other input, and helping them find jobs when they graduate. It is also trying to change perceptions about the industry as well as raise levels of awareness about the broad range of careers available

The foundation, which provides a link between the private and public maritime stakeholders in Singapore, has been trying to provide companies with resources. Its aim it to ensure the maritime workforce is equipped with the right skills to support digitalisation in the industry
