Marine LNG fleet set to expand despite World Bank rejection

Dutch bunkering player Titan LNG is pressing on with its newbuilding plan in defiance of the World Bank’s call to dial back marine LNG investments. The Amsterdam-based LNG bunker vessel owner-operator is eyeing a fifth vessel to add to an operating fleet, which will serve Zeebrugge and the English Channel

Titan LNG has questioned the the lifecycle emissions analysis available for hydrogen and ammonia, pointing out that liquefied natural gas has an established record of evidence backing up its status as an available pathway to decarbonising international shipping
