Japanese study eyes recycled methane as ‘zero-emission’ fuel
A study by the MOL-backed Ship Carbon Recycling Working Group shows the life-cycle CO2 emission of recycled methane is similar to other zero-emission fuels
The group will continue to work on subjects such as CO2 transportation by large-scale liquefied tankers, production of hydrogen from renewable energy, prevention of methane slip and the supply infrastructure of liquefied methanation fuel
