Pirates have taken control of a Bangladesh bulker, Abdullah, with 23 crew on board as it sailed from Mozambique to UAE carrying coal. It is just the latest in a recent surge in piracy incidents being carried out by several groups of pirates now stalking the Indian Ocean in hijacked ‘motherships’
