Strike action continues to hamper Swedish ports
Industrial action at ports across the Scandinavian country initiated by the Swedish Dockworkers Union is entering its third day. SDU members are striking in protest against a new collective bargaining agreement drawn up by a bunch of mediators brought in to end a bitter dispute with employers. The workers object to the plan on the grounds it would exclude the union from local negotiations
The SDU has issued notice of 25 intermittent strikes at 15 ports across Sweden, including Gothenburg — Scandinavia’s largest port
