Hutchison Ports names ex-UK transport secretary Grayling as adviser
Chris Grayling started his role at the beginning of the month and has committed to seven hours per week as part of his year-long contract with Hutchison
Grayling will earn £100,000 as a strategic adviser to Hutchison Ports Europe, which operates the UK’s largest container port Felixstowe. The role was approved by the UK’s Advisory Committee on Business Appointments, who deemed that despite the commercial risks, the move will not grant the port operator a competitive advantage if certain conditions are met
