Port throughput in June was only 5% below the past year’s record, but July is expected to be softer, with nine blank sailings
The port of Los Angeles had its strongest month since July of the past year, with imports down only 2.1% year on year, compared with a 17.5% decline across major US ports projected by the US National Retail Federation.
