Asian importers confident of Saudi supply but cast wary eye on outage duration

Saudi Arabia has promised to draw on its stockpiles to avert any possible supply disruption from last Saturday's drone attacks on its most important refinery. This may open up the possibility for buyers of Saudi crude to front-load cargoes, which will support tanker rates during this interim period

The drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s Abqaiq refinery and the kingdom’s second biggest oilfield, Khurais, have resulted in a loss of 5.7m barrels per day in supply, according to analysts’ estimates
